BELLINGER BLASTS TWO HOMERS AS YANKEES ROLL PAST DIAMONDBACKS 10–5

NEW YORK — The New York Yankees answered back in a big way Saturday night.

Powered by a monster performance from Cody Bellinger and a solid outing from Max Fried, the Yankees defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 10–5 at Yankee Stadium in Game 6 of the season.

New York’s lineup erupted for 13 hits, including three home runs, turning an early back-and-forth contest into a comfortable win.

Bellinger’s Big Night

Bellinger delivered the loudest swings of the evening and earned Player of the Game honors.

The Yankees outfielder went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double, four RBIs, and three runs scored, powering an offense that kept Arizona’s pitching staff under constant pressure.

His second homer of the night helped break the game open in the middle innings as the Yankees pulled away.

Yankees Lineup Produces

Bellinger wasn’t the only Yankee making noise at the plate.

Aaron Judge turned in a strong performance, finishing 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. contributed two hits and an RBI, while Austin Wells chipped in two hits and an RBI as New York’s offense produced runs in four different innings.

The Yankees struck first with three runs in the opening inning and continued adding insurance runs throughout the game.

Fried Battles Through Six

On the mound, Fried worked through some early trouble but ultimately delivered a quality outing.

The left-hander pitched six innings, allowing seven hits and three earned runs while striking out six and walking four. Despite traffic on the bases at times, Fried limited the damage and kept Arizona within reach for the Yankees’ offense to take over.

He earned his first win of the season.

Diamondbacks Flash Power

Arizona had its own moments offensively but couldn’t keep pace with New York’s surge.

Josh Naylor led the way for the Diamondbacks, going 2-for-4 with two home runs, two RBIs, and two runs scored.

Randal Grichuk added two hits including a double and an RBI, while Ketel Marte doubled and drove in two runs.

Geraldo Perdomo also had a two-hit performance, scoring twice.

Still, Arizona starter Zac Gallen struggled to contain the Yankees’ lineup. The right-hander lasted 3⅓ innings, allowing five earned runs on four hits while striking out five.

By the Numbers

Diamondbacks: 5 runs, 10 hits, 0 errors
Yankees: 10 runs, 13 hits, 0 errors

Bellinger: 3-for-5, 2 HR, 2B, 4 RBI, 3 R
Judge: 3-for-4, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R
Naylor: 2-for-4, 2 HR, 2 RBI
Fried: 6 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 6 K

The Takeaway

For the Yankees, it was the type of offensive explosion they’ve been searching for early in the season.

After splitting the first two games of the series in the Bronx, New York’s lineup showed its full potential — power, depth, and timely hitting from top to bottom.

And on a night when Bellinger was launching balls all over Yankee Stadium, the Diamondbacks simply couldn’t keep up.
